I was fortunate in my career at Megacorp, than on several occasions I experienced something that could be classified as "job hurt", but I did not complain or make a fuss and moved on from it. Someone noticed my response, and down the road I received benefits due to my response, that far surpassed any "hurt" I would have let myself experience.
