Getting rid of work clothes

Shining shoes? I just take my Skechers outside and hose them off, let them dry in the sun.
OK, the leather motorcycle boots I will clean and treat with Lexol now and then. I suppose cleaning the bugs off constitutes shining.

I was never in the military but somewhere along the way I learned to shine my shoes and it became a habit. Admittedly, it was a lot more fun to go out at lunch and get my shoes shined (when I worked in the city), but if it’s leather footwear, I keep it nice, clean and shiny.
