I have been border line for glaucoma for about 10 years with regular monitoring and range of vision testing. Last year the doc recommended eye drops. First I was on Latanoprost, that was a disaster, developed drug induced macular edema in one eye, vision deteriorated. doc switched me to Timolol, a beta blocker. That caused my resting heart rate to drop into the 40s, too low. Then tried Brimonidine Tartrate with no further adverse side affects, and eye pressure is satisfactory. The edema largely went away after I stopped the Latanoprost. Have a range of vision test next month.
