Hi, I'm a refugee from Fidelity Forums (was gb). I am still a member but am branching out. I have not created a profile here at early-retirement, but a couple tidbits about me:
- Retired in Q4 2023 at 62. Currently living in central IN.
- Used to be an engineer/manager at a large automotive manufacturer that starts with G.
- Now I am an enthusiast for what comes next. I have already discovered I love the editor here at early retirement!
- We (my lovely sweetie and I) are moderate allocation investors vacillating between 60%(today) and 70%(turn of the year), mostly in ETF/Mutual funds with a few individual equities thrown in for fun. Our income investments are split between plain Jane multi-bond funds and CEF funds.
- Favorite past times are fitness (free weights) / cycling (motored and pedaled) with a little backpacking, travel, reading and tinkering to fill in the gaps.
thanks to some of the FF elders who enlightened me to this forum!
