Heads up: CDC change to boosters

I don't understand if I am "healthy" or not per this guideline.

I mean I could lie and say I was physically inactive. I suppose how true that is depends on your definition. But they can't really test for it.
As with other vaccines, if your doctor believes the potential benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risks for you, and you want to get the vaccine, your doctor can prescribe/administer it. I don't believe the change in FDA guidelines supersede this.

I haven't read anything about being physically inactive or not. High risk health factors are usually related to medical conditions like diabetes, congestive heart failure, renal failure etc.
It is literally in the article, figure 2 has a list. You have to expand it a bit to read it (at least I did).

There is a list in figure 2 of the NEJM article. I don't think HBP was included but it is very small print so I might have missed it when I zoomed.
The CDC lists high blood pressure under "Heart conditions". The NEJM article is brief and doesn't list all the conditions.

You do realize "pulmonary hypertension" is a completely separate condition from HBP right? I know someone with both. They don't automatically go together thank goodness.

But anyway I thought the list was kind of odd with "physical inactivity" and so on.

I probably won't bother with another shot at this point.

I agree. I COULD get one since I'm over 65 and could pay out of pocket if I had to, but unless I see reports of a more virulent strain (in which case one hopes the policy will change), I won't bother, either.

Since I'm going on a hike that will require bunkhouse stays this summer, I will get at least one more COVID vaccination. Not sure that I'll have such high chances for exposure after that.
