Welcome to the FIRE forum I also read your post about collecting unenjoyment- good luck, I believe most states pro-rate your severance- if you got 50K and were making 5K/month you would not be eliglible for 10 months- not sure how they are going to look at your situation- When a lot of people are making claims at once- i.e. a big corporate layoff, they tend to rubber stamp the applications quicker than when they have time to process them individually. Better not tell them you are FIREd.
