Hi all,
Newbie here. Just came across this great group of forums! Super!
By way of introduction, we're 50 and 53. Started the 5-year FIRE timer in January this year. WOOHOOO!!!
We've been LBYM (less than 50% of our combined salaries) since since starting work ~25 years ago.
Our only child is out this year and off to a stable work environment. So for the next 5 years 60-70% of our income is going into the retirement fund.
We plan to adjust our lifestyle/budget to whatever the sum total is in 5 years (we're good with worst-case drops for that).
