I'm 65 now and I've been posting and lurking on this forum for the last 15-20 years. I finally retired this spring so it's time for the introduction. I might have some questions to post!

For the last ten years I've been cruising along in a work-from-home job making decent money in an industry that was also my hobby. That allowed us (DW and I) to pay off the house and triple our net worth. DW is planning to work another year or two and then also retire.

We have two grown kids, both financially independent. I've managed our finances throughout our lives. Sometimes we're frugal, almost to a fault but we've been able to start spending more as the market has gone crazy these last few years, both in housing and stocks.

Thanks for having us and sharing all your wisdom and advice!

Sounds like you're all set. The market has let us spend more too.

Congratulations! That is awesome when w*rk = hobby and pays decent too :)
