Hi and congrats! I also ER'd this year in October just before my 54th bd. It's has been pretty nice so far. I've gotten accustomed to having my time be my own. You will notice that you can do things at your own pace now, which is so pleasant. I'm enjoying the holidays so much this year, and hosting a holiday party. I'm having fun decorating and making most of the food myself! Welcome to ER!
