I stumbled across this band when I was surfing YouTube. They play a lot of songs from the 70's and 80's, so should be right in this group's wheelhouse for musical tastes.

They are from Australia and have over 1 million subscribers (yep, they got me.) They've put out hundreds of songs on YouTube. Most of them are top notch productions. The more recent songs are in 4K and look and sound fabulous, especially if you have a home theater system. I believe they put out one new song every week. Their earliest works were done in a cramped room and were not in 4K, but still sound pretty good.

It's uncanny how well they reproduce the sounds of the original songs, especially the saxophone and other instruments like the flute and banjo. The singers are very close to the original band's vocal sounds.

Here's a couple of good examples of their work. If you have some favorite songs you can search their YouTube page and see if they've covered them.

Wow. Just killed a chunk of time. Great Boston cover. More than a feeling.

I've watched them several times, and they are good. If you like HSCC, you may like these also.

Every cover band I have stumbled on was a result of a search for the original artist - but there are some outstanding cover bands on YouTube nowadays, like HSSC. And I have also lost and hour or two going from one YouTube music video to another without meaning to more than once. Sometimes cover bands, other times original artists. Since I'm retired, that's OK.

Thanks for the links to the other bands. I like to watch music performed live, but typically with the real artists either the sound quality or the video quality (or both) are far less than ideal.
