I'm interested in starting a message board and I really like how this one is structured. How do I put together a board that has this format? Don't worry it's nothing to do with Early Retirement.
I've always been partial to threaded boards. You can find a basic version at www.boardhost.com. Compuserve once had the most elegantly designed forums around and they still haven't been matched to this day. The threaded boards lend themselves more to conversation--similar to private emails, only anyone can join in. The also eliminate the need for clunky quoting of previous messages. Alas, they are a dying breed.
