Maybe the next poll can be what kind of drinks...beer, wine, gin and tonic, screw drivers, etc. 15 drinks of Jack in the Black is a lot different than the crummy 3.2 "near beer" here in Happy Valley. :D

Again, I am curious.  Use your good judgment as to what is one drink.
You might have to split this poll chronologically-- "Before ER" and "During ER".

It's not zero but it's a fraction much smaller than one/week.  I'm usually too tired to be self-medicating myself before/after dinner, or too busy with tae kwon do, or I'd rather devote the calories to other delicacies!

You're also going to have to adjust the data for the fact that none of us are married to Greg.  Our consumption may be considerably lower...

Not when I'm around! ;)

I put 11-15 a week. But I am dropping and will probably fall out of that category soon. As I've gotten older, the "work hard, play hard" mantra is starting to wear, and plus I got a little one, so I can't drink when I'm in charge. Weekends were made for beer, still. So I probably average 0.5 beers a day Monday through Thursday, then crush a six pack on Friday, and have a few over Saturday night and watching football Sunday. :D

Six weeks before a triathlon this drops dramatically as workouts get intense.

Are the days of "Hank the Tank" over?

Since I've been retired I've gotten into wine - I tend to have a glass of wine almost every evening before or during dinner - hey it's good for you health right?

I'm a 10-12 person (okay so maybe 15 :-X). Chardonnay made from Sonoma grapes is my only poison.

Are you including the occasional "topping off" of the wine glass ? :D

Man CT, that is a fine looking wine rack.

Does everyone in the world have partially burnt candles in their basement? :)

I didn't answer the poll. Couldn't decide between 0 and 1-3 as on average it's a fraction so neither answer seems proper. I had a nice big Pina Colada on Friday, though.

We have partially burned candles everywhere.  Alas, the soot
clogged our furnace and even shut down the computer.  I guess
this is just another thing to worry about.  Hey, just think about what
those folks must have been breathing back when candles were
used in every room in the house.

Yeah, I should have had the options: Never and 0-1.

So if my glass is never empty does it count as just 1 drink?

Cut-Throat:

Checking out your lovely rack, one word immediately jumps to mind: earthquakes.
Do you have a cover panel to hold in the bottles, or do you live in an area that never
shakes? (And are you sure it never does? Most places do, if infrequently...)
