How much do you use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, etc.)?

Since we are interested in those that have NEVER used AI. Here is the poll.

Today I subscribed to Claude for a one-month trial. We had two family tech gurus in for the holiday. I received a decent orientation...see how it goes. Biggest surprise so far is the time it takes to calculate a response. I expected under 10 seconds; but it closer to 10 minutes on multiple spread sheet reviews/summation/feedback.

Considering Alexa is considered AI, as well as WAZE and Gemini; then I use it throughout the day.

Alexa+ (Alexa Plus) is AI, but the standard Alexa is not - it knows how to search websites for some answers, but no real ai behind it.

I started using it (usually the Google one but also the one associated with Duck Duck Go) about 2 months ago or so. It definitely has its place but so far its major benefit is: It can scan and retrieve the entire WWW way way way faster than I can using a standard web search, and distill its findings into news I can use. It has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful in presenting information to help me make a decision regarding downsizing into a new retirement environment. Everything from costs to building codes. Some of the information was stuff I never would have thought to ask in the first place.

I use Claude daily. Totally redid all my financial spreadsheets, developed checklists for my move to NJ, and developed a financial plan into and beyond retirement. I will fact check with an expert prior to making major decisions, but honestly do not foresee ever needing a financial advisor. The monthly fee is well worth it.

I use ChatGpt all the time.

I broke a tooth and now I need my first ever implant. Chatty explained the entire process, sent pictures of what of the implant looked like, the abutment and the crown and how it all works. Explained I didn't need to be that worried about my next appointment for the implant. Gave me an expected time in the chair along with a step by step of what the dentist would do. How it may feel during and after. It really helped to reduce my anxiety about the procedure.

She even analyzed the cost to see if my dentist's pricing was fair. (It was actually very good for Orange County).

I use numerous AI engines, many times a day, which was not as I expected a year ago. My car alone uses several specialized AI systems working together that allow it to reliably drive itself. I frequently explore topics related to health and medicine. Too much good stuff is available to read, and not enough time.
