How much Vitamin D3 supplement do you take? Did you have blood work done to check your levels, just pick a generic amount and go with that, or is it part of a multivitamin? Also, do you live in a sunny area where you produce Vitamin D naturally outside, or a grey cloudy area where you spend most time indoors?
I live in Washington state (clouds and rain most of the winter) and currently take 1000 IU daily. That's just what my previous doc recommended, but I have no idea if that's too much or too little. I thought about asking my current doc to do blood tests, but haven't gotten that far yet...
