I retired about 2 years ago, and my portfolio has grown about 20-25%. Doesn't sound that impressive, but it's $1M of growth, which blows my mind.

My earned income stopped on Friday 2012/05/18. Since then my investable accounts have grown 3x, despite the withdrawal of close to a 7-figure sum for spending. What a bull market!

Well, I retired 6 months ago today.

Portfolio balance is up a little over $120K, even though I took $24K out for living expenses for the 2nd half of 2025.

Can't complain.
