Were you there during that campaign? CW committed political suicide more than once. You can't be a good ole' boy in front of the press during a campaign. Maybe he forgot that women can vote now.

Her campaign against Bush was shortsighted because they just threw mud at Bush and expected him to explode like Williams in the previous election or W during his dad's campaign. There's a lot of things I could say about Bush, but he did learn to control his mouth and work the PR after his gaffe in his dad's campaign.
