Correct, I don't use PLEX for recording or viewing live. I record a handful of OTA shows for DGF, some older on PBS. My intent was to let you know the HDHomerun turners have worked very well for me over the years and I am confident the newer ones provide as good or better quality. I have occasionally played with the Silicon Dust viewer available for the tuners and the quality there was just as good as on Media Center.

I have ported Media Center from my old Windows 7 server to a newer mini system running Windows 10 but still need to reinstall PLEX on the new server before I put it in service. FYI - Media Center does not come with Windows 10 or later as Microsoft abandoned it after Windows 8 but I found a way to port it that works. I should really look at using PLEX but Media Center has worked so well for me over the years and I am so comfortable with it, I find it hard to be enthusiastic about changing.

BTW - I also use Schedules Direct for my Electroni

Only TV you watch is NFL? So you gave up on watching the Roku or watching movies from the library? I remember you canceled Netflix. There's still lots of free stuff to stream, though.

Out here in Colorado, usually Chiefs are blacklisted, so they can play the Donkeys. VPN's are a good thing. Never had a problem for the 20 years I lived in KC.
