I also may have missed something about this in the other thread on the House version, but the Senate has also apparently re-introduced a bill regarding changes to the tax on Social Security benefits.
Informational only as it hasn't come out of committee. The Senate version--if I understand it correctly--raises the amounts to 32K for single and 68K jointly rather than the current 25K/32K.
Perhaps an adjustment of the amounts might get more backing than zero taxable?
