Is it time to buy PAVE, Global X U.S. Infrastructure Development ETF?
Or any other etf related to infrastructure?

I hope folks are not too gullible to think most of this $1.2T will actually be spent on physical infrastructure!! One must pay attention to who lobbies for these mega bills and where the money eventually ends up. And folks shouldn't count on "shovel-ready jobs" either. You don't have to look too far back in history to see how politicians sell these catchy phrases.

Big chunk of money will be used to shore up the huge pension deficits at state, city and public transit authority and airport level. In US, almost all public transit are huge loss-maker. And they rely on this kind of money flow to keep the wheels and employees and their pensions going.

These public agencies will now be able to buy more "green buses". So if anything invest in Lithium/Hydrogen related stocks.

By the time the money grabbing is over, the only highway work that will probably be done is replacing broken speed limit signs.

Well, some part of it will reach infrastructure building, but probably only around 10% of it. Watching some youtubes on how municipalities and states runs their pension funds is kind of mind blowing, many rely way too much on what the wall street salesmen tell them.

The time to buy them (if at all) is before the bill passed.

It's old news now, baked in the price.
