iPhone 11 not working in Madrid

So just to update, Madrid turned put fine after doing airplane mode on/off. However in Porto Portugal and Fatima I’m not 5G with iPhone 11 and very poor connection. DW with iPhone 15 gets 5G and I have to use her as Wi-Fi hotspot. New phone I NEED

So now in Lisbon I’m the same as Porto, phone is a brick away from Wi-Fi. I’m wondering if it is just Portugal rolling out 5G in a big way and very little 4G left.
Just an alert if you travel to Portugal and phone isn’t 5G you may be surprised.
