Last Meal

Well, I posted a Costco strawberry yogurt sundae somewhere above, but if I had to leave soon, I would smoke some good old Texas brisket and invite family and friends to share it.

I think I'd go with a good old PB&J, potato chips on the side, and an ice cold Coke.

As do I, which made it a sobering question. At the time of reading it was a small box of Orgain protein drink. Heck of a thing to check out on. A reminder to live each moment as if it were your last. Which i sure don't do.
I like the idea of living every day like it's your last but in practice I guess I live each day the way I invest and plan for retirement-over a 30 year period but willing to make adjustments along the way. Now, do I eat as if I want to live another 30 years (kinda boring) or eat what I enjoy and hope for the best? Probably somewhere in the middle. "ok, please pass the fried chicken".

Sorry for the confusion, I can understand the reason it was confusing. I went back to edit it, but what happened to the edit button?

It dies out after a while. PM (conversation) one of the Mods and they can change it for you.

Tonight I had pork tenderloin coated with the rib rub out of the America's Test Kitchen recipe book, cooked in the air fryer, home made mac and cheese and steamed yellow squash with onions. Wrapped up with mixed nuts (that I assemble to my own proportions from separate bags of each type of nut) and apple slices. Beverage: reverse osmosis water, no ice.

I would pick Commander's Palace - start with turtle soup, follow with trout pecan, with a praline parfait for desert.

We loved that place. Being your last meal, it is also conveniently located next to a graveyard.
