I've just started using Medicare this year - parts A, B and D....I am a federal govt retiree, FEHB is my secondary.

I have a primary care doctor and do the typical consults, prescriptions, tests, etc through that office.

Lately, I've been reading about people using telehealth providers such as One Medical through Amazon and other similar services.

I am thinking this could be helpful to me whenever I go on my extended travels and I am away from my home base.

Just scratching the surface of this and wondering if anyone here has used a telehealth provider with Medicare and wondering how that worked out?

Thank you.

Great. During Covid, DW and I caught Covid. Never visited a doc. Telehealth doc got us our prescriptions. During Covid, many appointments were telehealth with our regular docs. On trips, it is easy to see an urgent care clinic. Have used the CVS minute clinic and various other places like that. All positive experiences.

I think since last year Medicare no longer allows telehealth..unless you’re in a underserved area.
