I was wondering if any would share their Supplement Premiums cost per month. I would imagine cost varies from the details of the policy and who from. I will be paying 270$ a month from 208$ a month (BCBS of Montana). I can go with another company with exact same word for word policy for 241$ a month. About 360$ a year savings. I will ponder the option but was wondering what yours would share their cost per month.

The rates depend on age and state whether community or age rating is required. Also some states allow switching between Medigap providers under varying circumstances, in others the Medigap providers can (and usually do) require underwriting.

Indiana - age rated - Western United Life Insurance (Manhattan Life) - Plan g - 73yo-F $161.89, and 72yo-M $180.19

Ous is Mut.of Omaha is $190. up from $165. last Yr. in June just turned 73 yr. old 2 weeks ago. DW @72 yrs. is $162. up from $135. last year or $352. total. Just like everything else it always goes up! We would have to pass underwiting to change and with both haing COPD and my heart problems it would be a no go for us to change. We are in good old Georgia---Go Dawgs! :wiseone:

I am 71 and pay 225/month with anthem. A friend of mine could no longer afford her premium when she reached the age of 80 because I think it was close to 500/month. If I didn’t get a reimbursement from my employer of 195/a month I would go on a high deductible plan versus choosing an advantage plan.

Very few people ever pay that big deductible because all the bills are reduced before you end up paying your share. However, I can’t do that and still receive my reimbursement since I have to pick from the few plans that they offer on via benefits. It doesn’t matter at this point because they’re giving me so much money towards my health insurance.

244 per month for Plan G UHC in Central Florida.

We're 70 and 71, respectively, and currently $112/mo for me and $101/mo for DW for a Plan G with Atlantic Capital, a part of Bankers Fidelity Life.

Was $210 each in Sept 2024 when were we still Florida residents so we saved over $100/mo each in Medigap premiums when we moved to Texas.

Some very good premiums compared to here. Thank You all for sharing the info.

AARP UHC Plan G; $163/month; 70 yo female, NC

In June 2026 it will increase to $183/month.
In Jan 2027 it will increase to $192/month.

We were paying $324 for DW’s Plan G with BCBS and $307 for my Plan G with UHC, but mine was just increased to $351.

Me, age 79, Plan N, increased in March from $119 to $146/mo (Allstate, closed book in 2025)
DW, age 78, Plan N, $155/mo. Expect an increase to $190 in June (MoO, closed book in 2019)

Medicare Advantage supplements parts C, D and Dental for the DW and I comes out to $234 mo total. Same as it was last year, IIRC.

Kaiser Advantage, get $10 discount on Medicare this year, so paying $192.90 instead of the $202.90
$0 for premium supplement, and $49/mo for Advantage=vision/dental

Yearly total for DH and I for Medicare= $5805.60.

My Blue Cross/Blue Shield Plan F runs $414 per month. The same plan for my wife runs $401 per month (she is a year younger).

The cost really vary wildly...way too many variables for a smattering of replies here to coalesce into anything useful. My mom moved 60 miles south and her supplemental went up 40%. The only difference was her address.

AARP UHC Plan G; 68 yo male, OH
Currently $158/month.
In June 2026 it will increase to $181/month.
In Aug 2026 it will increase to $191/month.

Alaska 67 male, AARP UHC G plan = $208/month.
It's reimbursed by former mega-corp, so I don't shop hard.

DGF is on former employer sponsored C plan and it's no cost past part B.

Through my employment I retired from and included medical along with my pension. I have UHC senior advantage. Pay $51.71 per month that includes both myself and my wife. Up from $46 per month last year.
So far, so good. It's a PPO plan and have had no problems seeing any doctor I care to in or out of their plan, my copay cost is the same.
