Youtube poster says it's a guy in Finland using this.

Clever. What they don't show is all those snow cubes landing on the guy's head.

A few years had around 40" of snow. Actoually considered driving my snowblower onto the roof. Then a sanity check vetoed it.

This reminded me of my college days when we lived in a triple decker with a flat roof. We cleared about 30' inches of snow with a small snowblower but the toughest part was lugging the blower up to the roof.

One time, while I was living in New England, my mom called and was telling me how terrible the snow was that year in Chicago. She was describing my dad out there flailing away at the snow on the (detached) garage roof.

As we were talking, she started saying, "Oh my God, it's collapsing!". It did. Next time I was back, a new garage had been built. The car in there did not appreciate what Mother Nature had done.

Not funny, as I have heard of a number of collapses in the Northeast this year. But one of the oddest phone conversations I've ever had.
