Micro-BTD (less than $100)

We've decided to switch from depending on high MERV furnace filters to using a whole house air purifier. Found a large H14 unit on Amazon for $159. With two discount offers, the price came down to $83!

Airflow-wise, I'm hesitant to use the highest-MERV filters in an older system built for when the simple blue fiberglass filters were the norm.

I am replacing several of my surge protector powers strips with models than include USB-A and USB-C ports, to increase the availability of USB ports throughout our home. These will also have more space between the outlets to accommodate larger adapter sizes. It will be under <$100 total, purely for convenience purposes :) .

Finally got some lumber racks for the garage. So nice to organize things and get it out of way.

Also replaced the 6 years old flusher valve that came with the toilet...

Hoping the flapper does not go bad. Don't know how old it is.

I bought a bunch of the USB-A to USB-C adaptors and stuck them in various chargers that have USB-A ports. I still live in a mixed world, but for the last year I have refused to buy anything whose charge port is not USB-C.

I did that a couple of years ago when our household tipped from 1/3 USB-C phones to 2/3. Then, a year ago I bought a bunch of Monoprice USB-A to USB-C cords with braided nylon sheathing and replaced most of our charging cords, in the cars and in my travel bag. All together the two purchases were probably under $100 total!

I saw a newly used car that might be worth purchasing, but at a remote Carmax location. I decided to BTD for $99 to ship it to the local Carmax for a test drive.

Interesting. I'm thinking about doing the exact same thing from Carmax and the fee is $99. Hope you're not getting my vehicle!:)

😂 If you are not looking at a Highlander, then you are safe. :)

Speaking of Costco, I was there Thursday and they had one of the Lego botanical sets for $45. I did a quick check on Lego website and list price is $60, and Legos rarely go on sale, so I bought it. I have one that's a fall theme and it was fun to put together, so now I'll have a springy one as well. I'm putting it together a little at a time to spread out the fun!

Car is finally in the local Carmax and ready for me to test drive. We will see tomorrow if this mini-BTD turns into a major BTD  . Any details will be in the Blow That Dough! thread...
