Gee. If I had this, DW wouldn't be able to criticize my driving and I wouldn't have to justify every action I take behind the wheel.

What would be the point of driving if you can’t get into a rip-roaring argument every three miles? Technology takes the fun out of everything!

Your second comment reminded me I usually joke to my spouse before we get into the car "which side of the car would you like to drive from"...

We both critique each other's driving so self driving car would be an interesting experience.

One thing I like which may not be a Tesla or FSD thing is that my Tesla figures out much more efficient routes.

Around town, even after 40 years, it takes obscure side streets that I never knew about. On a longer trip that I had been doing for years it cut 10 minutes off a 45 minute drive.

We use Android Auto and Google maps in our Bolt EUV. We drive about 30 minutes to these ponds in Gilbert AZ to bird watch about once a week. Depending on the traffic conditions it will suggest a different route if it's estimated time is quicker. It also alerts us to things like stalled vehicles and traffic slow downs and ask you to confirm if that condition still exists when you are in the location. You can actually add these conditions if you come up to one that they haven't been alerted to.
I bet Tesla self driving just avoids those conditions if possible.

I heard that Tesla is going to offer a 50 cal machine gun mount so cyber truck owners can defend themselves.

When I worked in the Volkswagen parts department the catalog had a machine gun mount for the Thing (south America only)

There are so many Teslas in our area we don’t feel conspicuous.

+1 We have five just in our neighborhood. I'm the odd one it seems with an ICE, but I appreciate that they're (Teslas) are good for the planet and super advanced.

My Mercedes lease runs out in 2 years, so maybe...............
