The Florida Insurance Commissioner just approved 2016 rates for individual and exchange policies. According to them, the weighted average price increase is 9.5%.

Thank you for posting this. My DH and I have had our health insurance through the Florida Marketplace since it started, and will need it for 3 more years.

We have used Assurant for 2015, but they are discontinuing their .gov plans....so I will be shopping for coverage again this fall. Your posting gives me a preview that I appreciate.
