Pay no LTCG tax or do Roth conversion for 2025?

I think that the 0% LTCG tax bracket causes some folks to distort their thinking for a modest "free gift".
If you are indeed a low to moderate income retiree with taxable income (after standard deduction) of less than $50,000 per person in the long run, then OK
By "in the long run", I mean with projections to age 75 and beyond with SS and RMD income included.

The thing is, many or maybe most lower-income retirees are unlikely to have large taxable accounts which generate Qualified Dividends and LTCGs for many years to come.

Most "wealthier" retirees are better served by "embracing their destiny" at the outset of retirement by using methods to levelize their AGI and taxable income over the long run...
