I got a chuckle seeing this thread.

My wife used to poke fun at her father for listening to the "oldies" station on the radio. The "moldy oldies" she used to call his music. Today that same station is playing 80's music and she's eating some crow over it.

Not sure it was on this thread but I've mentioned before that I'm not sure I want to live to see when rap/hip-hop are the main fare on "oldies stations." Basically, I quit listening to "current music" in the early 90's - but that's just me.

Just my thing and nothing personal.

RIP Greg Kihn, of the hit song "Jeopardy" fame, who died earlier this week. His big hit was great for us DJs in the 1980s. At Megacorp we would modify use the chorus line for various situations ("your sale's in jeopardy, baby, oooooohhh..." )

Weird Al did a great parody of the song, "I Lost on Jeopardy". Kihn was honored and did a cameo for it. I cannot post the YouTube link as the owner blocks it, just search YouTube. Easy to find, and hilarious.
