While searching for "tax-efficient retirement withdrawal planning calculators" on the internet I came across a site that may be a good starting point as a Pre-Retirement Savings Forecasting Tool. Is it from someone here? I search the forum and did not find any threads on it. It may be useful for some of us here. They have two versions. One for 62+ y/o and one for ER.

It looks very comprehensive. Not gonna try it out right now though.

I was disapppointed to have entered my data and only then learn that this requires a subscription to use. I cannot seem to find how much the subscription is. Do you know the cost?

Seems a tad pricey for what it does.
Maybe it depends on how close to the edge a potential retiree is.
Folks with more than sufficient assets can DIY without much problem...

I noticed that but I got some basic results from my numbers. That is what I was talking about. Maybe it is too basic and not good for our purposes. I am not looking for a subscription so I did not check that.

I suppose you are right. It gave an indication of withdrawals vs. time for reasonable assumptions. I got distracted by the promise of optimizing the tax efficiency of the withdrawals by choosing the best accounts to withdraw from (which you must pay for). As a rough forecasting tool, I don't see any obvious problems with it. (All such tools are approximate at best!)
