My Medicare is already deducted form Social Security. Wife's not yet on SS, Her Medicare & part D plan is auto billed to our bank. Her supplemental medical and my Advantage plan are deducted from our pensions. Wife is soon to claim her age 70 Social Security.
How does her Medicare & Part D drug plan transition from direct debt to the bank to pay from Social Security?

2nd question. If we bump into a IRMAA threshold with my Roth conversion, will the billing be adjusted for the increased amount for medicare & part D? Or I'm I gonna have to contact people to make sure the proper amount is billed?
At this point any IRMAA adjustment will be after we're both on SS

It seems to transition pretty seamlessly AFAIK.

Yes, they will take care of the IRMAA deduction as well.

It's been a while, but IIRC we got correspondence from SS/MC indicating what would happen when I transitioned to collecting SS at age 70.

Heh, heh, don't worry about IRMAA - they will take care of the extra charge for you.
