Red Robin Burger Deal 31 Gourmet Meals For Only $20 (Their words not mine)

Hamburgers every night for a month would kill my appetite for hamburgers.

FYI Tuesday you can get a Cheeseburger and endless fries for $10 at RR

That sounds like a deal.
If I did not have to drive for an hour+ one way, and spend $20+ on gas.

I will grill my own burgers.

I have not eaten at Red Robin since I retired. I liked their burgers, particularly the Whiskey River BBQ. There was a location near my last office that my co-workers and I would have lunch at once a week. After I started working at home, we would meet at another location that was centrally located relative to our homes 2-3 times a month.

However, I saw it as a "don't eat there too often if you want to keep your svelte figure, and when you eat there that is your meal for the day" kind of place. Since retiring every so often I think "we should go there for a meal", but DW is not really a burger person so it never makes it far up the list. I could not take eating a burger from them every day. OTOH, it might be a good gift for someone else... :)

RR burgers are fantastic, I have no idea how poorly run they are in your states and the fries are the best I ever had. The Royal RR is my favorite. There are 2 problems. First, RR is 26 miles one way so it is impractical to go there but I would when I went to Trader Joe's which is a few hundred feet away in the same plaza. The second issue is they did away with the free burger during the month you were born. I got an email months ago and IIRC you have to spend some stupid dollar amount to get the free burger. Why would I spend say $10 when the burger and fries are more than enough and my drink is $5? I have not been back since.

I have only been a few times... the burger was good... fries just OK... but expensive IMO...

Cannot remember the last time I went.. at least 15 years but could be over 20... we used to go to Fuddruckers until they sold out and whoever bought them really trashed their food and most closed...

Now I am going to Chili's... they do have a burger I like and for $11 with drink and a salad or soup...

So the question I have is how many of these $20 cards will be made available? The web page suggests that they may be highly limited. (Perhaps a bait-n-switch in the making? )

Will have to see what is offered instead if they sell out in less than 2 minutes.

It looks like a marketing scheme. I suspect only a lucky few will get the pass.

It says they expect to sell out of the passes within minutes.

Wow I wondered what happened to Fuddruckers even though I wasn’t a fan. Was very popular when they first came out.

Not sure but think financial troubles... yep, looked it up... they were owned by Luby's where I also went... funny is Luby's is still open in a couple of places near me but Fudd has closed all stores...

I did like both... but after the pandemic they just did not seem to come back.. and the new owners of Fudd messed it up... might have to go check out Luby's, but I think Chili's is better value...

BTW, went to their menu and a chicken sandwich costs a whopping $16!!! That includes fries but still... no drink from what I can tell...

One reason DW and I just don't eat out much any more. We used to eat out a meal almost every day (usually lunch). Now even though we could afford it, eating out seems like a bad value and we rarely do it.
