Regarding phone numbers, How many do you have memorized?

I only have my own and my wife’s phone numbers memorized. I used to have the main number at work memorized but in the 15 years since retiring I think I’ve forgotten it. Nope - still remember it!!

I have my home, cell, DH's cell, DS's cell, our accountant, dentist, and car repair numbers memorized. The last two are simply easy to remember.

My phone has many phone numbers memorized. It's memory is much better than mine.

I remember reading an article about Einstein... someone asked him for his phone number and he said you can look it up in the book (yep, remember them?)...

Said he did not want to have to remember stuff that was easily available... or something like that...

They’ve finally stopped dropping off Yellow Pages on my porch.

I used to know every number I needed to know, because I didn’t have a super computer in my pocket.

Mine, my wife’s, my son’s, our old landline, DFIL. So 5 total.

Mine, home (ooma), wife, son, daughter, parents home and mobile. It’s made easier as my son and daughter have variants of other phone numbers that make them easier to remember.

I know my cell phone and my landline number, plus two of our shared numbers back when I was a kid (remember those shared lines - partylines?).

I was asked my phone number yesterday and stumbled. So I usually know my cell and if I'm lucky I remember my DW's cell. These are the only two I need to know.

I still remember our land line number, and the 2 phone numbers I had growing up. I also remember my old work phone number. Thinking about it, I also remember my dad's work number.

Just curious if anyone remembers Jenny's number? If not, here you go-
867- 5309

It is odd about that. I can still remember my home phone number growing up - Mom drilled that into all three of us at a very early age. In my 20's I knew a dozen or more phone numbers. Now I can barely remember my own and DW's cell phone. But why bother remembering - it's right there in my cell phone!

That sparked a distant memory! I'm not certain but I think our number back in the early 50's might have been BR-549...

My paternal grandmother lived to 107.5. She passed in 2016.

Her phone number was 218-238-5481.

I know my parents, wife, kids numbers. No need to remember many beyond that.

Three, our old landline since we still use it at the grocery store even though it's been cancelled for a decade, my DW's (barely) and my own.

I remember around three dozen phone numbers, all from childhood. Today I couldn't even tell you the area code of most of my friends' phone numbers because they got their cell phones in other states, moved back here and kept those numbers. Oh, and yes, of course, all of the phone numbers announced on the radio 800 times every day. Catchy jingles have a way of sticking. "Starlite drive-in gives you more, call 524-2424".
