Dick it appears that you have to hit the bell , and read or not read all the messages, and when you back out , it automatically resets ..... Just a beginner here as well, but I think that is the answer.....

Click on the bell. Choose preferences. Scroll down. Turn off all the alerts by unchecking the boxes.

Just caught up with this thread......great getting the band back together! I didn't know you were into quantum physics, Ms. Schrodingerscat! Are you going to begin a BDC thread here? I think there are lots of folks who's enjoy/benefit from it.....

Hello my friend, it's good to "see" you! Should I begin a BDC thread? I'll think about it. I really am not that knowledgeable; I'm still learning about more obscure details such as PIK, non accruals (credit risk), dividend sustainability, hurdle rates, outstanding debt, "catchup" period, ugh! I'll never be as well informed as a couple of guys - including analysts such as BDC Buzz - on SA. So the long answer is I'll see! How about you - are you going to start a CEF thread? If there's not one here, you really should. You are brilliant and that's good for all of us. Best, C

Hi. Already started! CEF Holdings --- April 2025 in the Active Management, etc forum.

Do you play with baby bonds and prefs? I like knowing the company, the term, and holding to maturity if desired - know the outcome. Funds have caught me a few times. I like:HROWL (2026 so short term), UMBFP (was heartland), and now KMPB. GLTA - crazy times!!
