Rick Steves’ Fascism in Europe

I'm sure you don't want to lead your fellow members astray, so let's just leave it be.

That seems reasonable to me (the thread starter). I do like Rick Steves’ travel programs a lot and although I’ve never taken or considered his tours I think it’s good to visit with some knowledge of history. It can really enhance the experience.

One example for me was to visit Reims (France). A city in the Champagne region with a rich past, including World War effects.

Sometimes, a post is not in and of itself over the edge. But from long experience, the moderators can tell where in will ineluctably lead. In those cases, it's best to just not go down that road.
