Amazing ride for the S&P 500 in 2024. What will Santa do for 2025? Since I am so optimistic, let me take a stab at 6500. If we see similar numbers in coming years, many of my colleagues might hang up and walk away.

I tested out 2, 3 weeks of practice "quiet" retirement, and it seems very boring. I'm uncertain about my plans for the next few years.

Don't be shy. Share your thoughts on the prediction of the S&P 500 in 2025.

My Magic 8-Ball is broken and my dart board fell off the wall. Maybe I'll respond this time next year.

I’ll look at 2025 once we know the ending number for this year.

Not a political statement, but I feel it will be something around 10% of 2024's max during the year is all, and I figured I'd make it a number I could easily recollect.

SP500 in 2024 was amazing. It was much higher than most people expected. What it your prediction for the SP500 in 2025?

I like to go 1st .... 6.3%

I really enjoy the guess/science of these yearly predictions and the work others have done to group and name them. I will post my lucky number at the end of the year. It's going to be my year! Stay tuned.

I predict that the market will be open for trade. The level? Absolutely no idea whatsoever.

S&P is around 5900 this morning, so I'm going with a 12% increase for 2025, meaning 6608 a year from now...

Check back with me around 3:59 p.m. on December 31, 2025.

I suspect 2025 is going to be a wild ride.

Okay, just for grins, my WAG is 6500. That's me being optimistic.

Based on past experience, everyone should probably buckle up. I've never been close before so be prepared... It may be a bumpy ride.

I am looking for a 10-15% correction, back to around 5300. We've had a couple of good years recently, it's time for a small decline.
