S&P Double Prediction 2023 ?

As a takeoff to the original 2023 S&P prediction thread:

I'd like to add an additional prediction. (I wish this would have been part of the original prediction thread.) Let's see if we can get a 2nd thread going!

Many are predicting the S&P will fall early in 2023 with a possible recession, bottom out at some point, then rise by end of 2023. (If you disagree with this assessment, it's fine, just part of the predicting process.) So -

S&P starting at 3839.5

Prediction is:
1a) Bottom value in 2023.
1b) Botom date.

2) End value.

Let's give about a week for the predictions, so be done by 1/16/2023, 11:59pm EST.

The winner is the closest overall predictor of both values. E.g. bottom value is off by 100, end value is off by 50, that's 150 total (lowest overall wins). If there's a tie, the closest date for bottom value is the tiebreaker.

The winner gets a free lifetime membership to early-retirement.org !!!

My prediction:
1) Bottom 3400 on 4/8/2023
2) End 4200

2. See other thread. I predicted up 10% or up 20%; this way I get two predictions for the price of a single [-]dryer sheet[/-] raffle ticket.

For others making predictions, I think it will be helpful if you reproduce your end prediction here instead of just saying "see other thread". We could have 20+ predictions, and locating them all in the other thread may get tedious!
