Signature font size

Ladelfina brought up a good point (because I thought of it too) regarding the distraction of signatures that are in the same font and same size as your post.

Go to UserCP (user control panel) and edit your signature. Select font size 1, rather than the default font size 2. I also put my signature in italics to help it look different.

Changing the color of the font also helps distinguish the signature from the rest of the post. I changed mine to blue and it really separates itself that way.

I think you also have to 'select' the text before changing the size, just so nobody is confused...

Thanks for pointing this out again and explaining how to do it, Martha. I noticed some people have changed their signatures with this in mind, and it reads a lot better.

If signatures distract you, you can disable them in your User Control Panel (UserCP) and they will not show up when you are logged in.
