I have a 457 plan administered by T. Rowe Price. They wouldn’t be my choice but it comes from my former employer so there it is.
TRP’s app does work but does its thing in geologic time when compared to Fidelity, Vanguard, and Schwab. This morning it’s particularly pokey and took forever to get past the initial login screens (two of them). While it was churning and ruminating about what to do you’re subject to looking at that very familiar spinning wheel. Eventually it decided to say “we are experiencing technical difficulties” (duh, ya think?).
As I was watching the wheel go round and round and waiting I remembered this old tune by Blood, Sweat and Tears and was amused at the lyric “What goes up must come down” in the context of the stock market.
