Target Dated Bond ETF's
I am considering using target maturity bond ETF's to create a fixed income ladder instead of CD's. I noticed other members posted on this product several months ago.
Does anyone use these ETF's in lieu of CD's? If so, are you pleased with their performance?
I was looking at Guggenheim Bulletshares. From my research I see the following benefits:
1. higher yields.
2. Better diversification then individual bonds.
My concern is safety of principle if interest rates spike. I don't have a good understanding of the risk with these products.
Any insight would be appreciated.
