Tax extenders

I don't know if this was mentioned as it occurred around the holidays: Congress approved the tax extenders. Retroactively for 2019 returns: medical expense threshold is back down to 7.5%. Tuition and fees deductions, PMI, energy credits, and others are back.

Thanks for posting this - I hadn't heard about the medical deduction extension. We had a lot of medical expenses in 2019 (fortunately nothing serious) so this will be a nice little bonus.

Yeah. Just got re-certified for another tax year and now have to bone up on all the changes or lack thereof.

and all the tax software vendors have to generate some update code too
