I’m very happy that Tesla is dying worldwide. It couldn’t happen to a more deserving person!! I have been very careful about what companies I am supporting and I actually have a big list of companies that don’t share my values. It has meant making major changes in my shopping habits but totally worth it. Some are large companies and some are small local businesses that I no longer patronize.

I would like to have a Tesla but I only drive my car 1K miles a year. I do, however, spend quite a bit of time driving this around (yes, that is a solar panel on top). I don't even own a battery charger for the cart...

Did you rig that yourself or can you purchase a "solar" cart? Pretty cool.

We’re adding a lot of solar and wind, but it’s on top of current sources, rather than replacing. In the aggregate…

And as we're finding out in Paradise, it's not easy to integrate into the grid.

Speaking of robo taxis doing crazy things. On my way home from my last day of work and 10 minutes into retirement this happened. Truck coming the opposite way turned left in front on me and totaled by Bolt EUV. It was dead and wouldn't move. It was half way in one of two lanes heading in that direction. All the cars coming same direction had to merge into the right lane to get around my Bolt. An unmanned Robo taxi vehicle came upon the accident and instead of merging right to get past it decided to go left and thru the debris field you see in front of my Bolt. You could hear all the plastic pieces on the road crunching as it went by slowly. I am not sure what would have happened if an injured person was lying there. I was too shocked from everything going on and forgot to get pictures or a video of the crazy robo taxi antics....it was a WTH moment on top of a WTH moment for sure.

Glad you're okay. Too bad about your Bolt. What a way to start retirement - guess it's all gotta get better from here!

I love seeing those destroying property and using violence as a form of protest taking the hit of felony charges and "hopefully" significant jail time.

Somehow this madness has to stop. People are losing their minds... Glorifying Mangione, raising hundreds of thousands of $'s for a teen murderer.

That accident happened back on 12 01 2023. Fortunately nobody was seriously injured.
We ended up with another Bolt we liked the first one so much.
