Pics from today's trip to Gilbert Riparian duck feeding adventure. Taken with my cell phone so not the sharpest pics.

A couple of new ones to share.

We had a spring snow storm in WI, which entails 3-4 hours of rain before the snow starts. Took the dogs for a walk by the river the next morning.

The winter scene was just my Motorola razer 2024. The Moon was my ZWO Seestar S50 smart scope. It's not the sharpest as it's a still image from a time lapse on a cloudy night. Here is a better example of the moon with the Seestar

I love watching Canada geese, especially when they fly over low and you can hear the wings. They are beautiful. I just can't stand how they can trash sidewalks. When they come into our neighborhood, I bring out my dog. They don't care about people, but they respect dogs.

Yeah, I had a w*rk buddy who moved into a really nice new apartment complex that had beautiful open spaces with large ponds. The Canada geese came in and took over the ponds. They made a mess on the sidewalks and wouldn't let people close to the ponds. They can be quite vicious!

But I agree that they are an amazing force of nature. One day, DW and I were driving at first light. We saw thousands of Canada geese leaving a lake area. It was fascinating to see them struggle for altitude as they formed into traditional V formation. Lovely!

At our last house the small back yard opened up to a nice pond. Used to enjoy the ducks and ducklings. Unfortunately the bass liked them too. And then there were none.
