not sure what kind of birds these are. i took the pic of their nest on the top of an abandoned building near a waterline.

you may be right. i was leaning more towards Osprey. This was near the ocean coastline. heck of a nest too. either way the shot came out great.

I’m sure there are a number of places that look like that In Phoenix but I think me and DW stayed at that place. Do you recall where that is? My (bad) recollection is that it was an Omni resort.

It's been a minute but i'm pretty sure i was at Arizona Grand when i took it. yea if you look at the link below and click exterior pics there is one not as clear as mine in the same walkway there.

used to see alot of single ones in Arizona and NJ had a large festival of them every year as well.
