El Tovar had the best breakfast by far. We made sure to get there first thing at opening, 6 or 6:30.Yeah, we paid at least that. It’s definitely a location thing, although our room was nice. The overall property was very nice and the restaurant was superb. Much nicer than the Old Faithful Inn or even the Many Glacier Hotel (but that’s in the best location ever!). But it’s downright cheap compared to places like the Jenny Lake Lodge (Tetons) and Moraine Lake Lodge (Banff). Those run over $1k/night! But we justify staying in those places because we avoided the purchase of an RV. We’re still way ahead by that score!
