I get that some people enjoy the taste of beer but want to avoid the alcohol, but to me it's pointless as part of the reason to have a few is to get that little alcohol buzz.Non-alcoholic beer is for people that enjoy urinating, I guess?

(And, roasted garlic!).Now that I think of it, we have had Triscuit crackers over the years, and that's about the same thing (plus salt/oil).
It is crap. None of it is really yogurt. The cereal world started with corn flakes and shredded wheat and now has processed artificially flavored nuggets of corn syrup on some sort of ultra processed flour base. Yogurt has undergone the same transformation.Things you bought by accident but didn't know they existed?
Have you taken a look at the yogurt section at the grocery store lately? Talk about a bewildering assortment of options. I had no idea this level of specialization in a product category could exist. Holy crap!
The label does say that it may contain up to 0.5% ABV.Non-alcoholic beer is for people that enjoy urinating, I guess?
We were visiting my in-laws one time and I was in the mood for a gin & tonic. My wife came back with a fifth of gin that cost about $6.50 and was 35 proof. Basically just bottled water. That low cal wine might be tolerable, but it usually has about half the alcohol as well, so, what's the point?
Ugh. Yuck. Eew.Cotton Candy flavored vodka.
I'm not a vodka drinker but some friends recently came for a visit and they are so I figured I'd buy a bottle of Grey Goose. Somehow I came home with a bottle of undrinkable swill called So Fluffy Rainbow Unicorn Cotton Candy Vodka. It's a thing. I don't know WHY it's a thing but it is. Who drinks this stuff? Surely the company can't survive on accidental purchases...

I clearly wasn't paying attention. It was part of a large grocery order and I have no one to blame but myself. I was stunned when I started unpacking the groceries and pulled this bottle out of the bag. I went back to the store (no booze returns) and saw that this brand was shelved right next to the Grey Goose. I musta picked up the wrong bottle... would you like to have it?Ugh. Yuck. Eew.
So, how did this make it home?
The only reason I ever go to Kroger is their store brands, which I've found are usually really good. Unfortunately, they seem to be phasing out the ones I buy; I think it's a conspiracy.I was surprised to find that the Krogers brand of Frosted Mini wheats tastes EXACTLY the same as the name brand for less than 1/2 the price. I tried their Raisin Bran as well and actually liked it better.
I get Kroger brand pitcher size Decaf tea bags for half the cost of Lipton and can't tell the difference either. Probably same manufacturer, different packaging.I was surprised to find that the Krogers brand of Frosted Mini wheats tastes EXACTLY the same as the name brand for less than 1/2 the price. Such a generous offer. Thanks, I’ll think about it and get back to you. In the meantime, if you get any other option, don’t wait for me.I clearly wasn't paying attention. I read the reviews on this beer (all good). Seems like it's kind of flavored towards the fruity spicy tastes. Does anyone make any NA beer that actually tastes like real beer?Re: non-alcoholic beer - Times have changed since O’Douls. There are many beers out there that are very tasty. I’ve never been a drinker (at least not since my 20’s) but always enjoyed a beer with my burger. Now, due to health issues, no alcohol for me so it’s nice to have a good alternative. Looking at NA beer, while not a healthy drink (all carbs), the ingredients are natural and the calories are much lower than a soda.
Here’s one from one of the brands I like.

In the local store, they’re somewhat less expensive.
They have a few. Look at the Octoberfest and they have a couple IPA’s. They also have a dark beer that resembles a stout beer. I can’t vouch for them because I like the wheat style beers with a hint of lemon, so that one I posted is right up my ally.I read the reviews on this beer (all good).
