This weather is awful - 2024 to ?

We're supposed to get between one and two inches of snow Friday night, oops, that was just corrected to less than an inch. Well, if that's all ya got why bother?

Now that we're retired I don't care if we get snowmagedden so of course we get these wimpy snowfalls. Sheesh.

Coldest day since last Jan.
36 degrees this morning, high of 55. Next 2 weeks will be below the normal high of 70.
Wow, so far 40 has been the lowest morning. High was only 45. We are socked in heavy clouds, north wind and today’s range was 41 low to 45 high. Over the next week we will be warming up slowly too.

We are near the edge of the sleet and snow line here in my part of Texas. It's in the low 30's now and it's been raining for a while. Occasionally I'll hear some sleet hitting the windows. So it's just going to be a cold and rainy night. No big deal.

8F predicted for tomorrow morning. Now 12F. Got woodtsove stoked and cranking out warm air. Penty of wood next to it in the rack. Indoors 82F Wearing shorts and T shirt.

Rained here yesterday and last night. Everything ice this morning even with a full sun day and about 37 degrees. Rain in winter in Montana is no good for anything. I stayed around home today and did a few things and took a couple of walks.

First snow in a couple of years. At least that lasted on ground more than a couple of hours. The snowplow left that solid wall of ice behind my car and the neighbor shoveled all his snow into my empty parking space. I gave away all my gardening stuff so don't have a rake to chop at the ice. Sigh more weather expected on Saturday. NOVA-just outside DC

We finally got some rain last night. Usually this time of year, our hills are green. Now we look like Southern California. We've had some wild fires but fortunately, nothing that we couldn't handle as the winds have been limited.

Bunch of rain for a bit this morning, now expecting a dry week with temps 30's at night, 40's daytime. Pretty normal temps, lower than normal moisture.

Got a good 4 inches of wet snow here early this morning in the outer metro Atlanta burbs, plus some sleet and freezing rain (still falling). This is the first significant snowfall we've had in the past seven years! Nice to see it for a short while, but I'll be glad when it starts to melt tomorrow and the slush is (mostly) gone by Sunday afternoon.

Back to 73 high today. With 6 straight months of summer starting in mid April, I can accept these temps for now.

Well we didn't get any snow last night "as predicted" but lot's of rain and some sleet. The rain has stopped now but temps are holding in the mid 30's today and will drop to ~25 tonight. But next week we will be back in the 40's at night to 60's during the days, which is sort of normal for us at this time of the year.

Nice, it looks like Sunday we’ll get some sun and high of 75. Then it cools to 60s highs for several days. But we do eventually get back to the 80s.

Nine degrees this morning. We're supposed to get a little bit of snow tonight, maybe an inch. Right now we're having a little heat wave, it's 35°F.

With snow and very cold temps at home we decided to not return yet after a few weeks in north and central Texas. But South Padre did not look great either so we retreated to Ft Lauderdale. Highs in 70s past few days. Will get home eventually.

Luckily we had fantastic weather at South Padre over Xmas when family were visiting.

We finally got some snow. It was 100 miles away and almost 10,000 feet higher, but it's always an event here that makes the local news. Apparently the roads up Haleakala were closed for a while.

First snow in Raleigh in 3 years. Very typical, less than an inch, then some sleet and freezing rain. We'll all survive.

We received about 1.5 inches of snow overnight. Easy to clear, and a nice cover on the fields over the 5 inches of snow from Monday. I will take this over the back-to-back Snowmageddon storms of 2010 :) .

Well the first snow in several years just started to fall around here. They "say" it will snow for about 6 hours and should be about a 1 to 2 inch accumulation. That's really unusual here.

No snow here, but will have a low of 35 degrees in a few days.

It was 19f here when I got up this morning. But it's forecast to only get to 27 tonight. IMO, it's cold anyway you measure it. Still, it beats living in the summer heat around here.

19F is tropical. In CT the forecast for tomorrow is -2.

We might actually get a wee bit of snow tomorrow morning! Unfortunately one low of 26 degrees forecast for Wednesday morning, our only freeze, but a hard one!

About 2" of snow here on the north side of Houston. My dog did not know what to do when we started our walk this morning But he figured it out! (y)

I looked at the radar recently, and it’s snowing all along the Gulf Coast from here to New Orleans! And well out into the ocean too. Very unusual. I noticed it was snowing in Galveston and Houston as well as Corpus Christi, Brownsville, Louisiana coast. That was at 6:20am CT
