Tight Connect in Paris

No way I'd do that connection. CDG is a huge and confusing airport not to mention the new EES. I have a 2 hour layover in Frankfurt later this month and I'm even worried with that one. Just remember, unless you're sitting in the front of the plane, it can take 20 minutes just to deplane once it gets to the gate and that assumes it arrives on time.

You'll be fine. Key is you are on the same airline, same ticket. Obviously, don't dilly-dally when you get off the plane in CDG. Hit the head on the inbound aircraft, not when you land. No duty free shopping. No coffee and croissant. Pack small toiletries and toothbrush in your carry on. A quick change of clothes. Check the rest of the bags. BTW, EU compensation is a whole lot more that meal vouchers and hotel. I'd be hoping to be late and have the US-bound flight leave without me.

I’ve never been to Paris, but on US domestic flights, it’s my experience they will hold the last flight of the day for 30+ minutes in order to insure all passengers can board.

We just went through FRA when entering Europe a few weeks ago. There was a long line for the EES/passport control. What made the line so long for what I thought was an empty terminal was taking fingerprints and photos of each person.

Yes, we will do all that inbound. Once you add in the system as we will be it should be a lot easier.

I always believed that "through" international passengers usually make those flights. Hey, you are paying the bills. Practically royalty.

If you're arriving directly from the US into CDG you'll have to go through immigration and likely a different terminal.

The connection sounds really tight.
