Thinks s/he gets paid by the post
The only person that will be the same at both ends of the move is the driver. He contracts with Allied and then hires local people from the local Allied office/warehouse. The driver is who controls the process and pays for the local moving labor employees. I do believe a tip is good, just keep in mind that it will be different people loading vs unloading, except the driver. It's his truck and he gets a percentage of the moving bill.I am using an Allied mover 5 day process 53 ft truck 6 people. Right now thinking $100 per mover if all goes well and the same people stay on the job. Dont want to be foolish in $ but realistic in expectation. White glove move. 5K square foot house 500 miles
