too argumentative?

the moderator over at the alternative swr board said he deleted argumentative posts- I saved my repost which was deleted.

somehow my last post was deleted. Anyway, I read the general guidance thread at nofeeboards swr research board. I liked this:

what are the confidence intervals for the 2.4% swr you mentioned? what are the swrs for other stock allocations.? what is the optimal current stock allocation? why can't I find a simple explantion for where the 2.4% came from?This is sort of strange putting up a post, seeing my total posts increase (TO 3) and then finding that I am back to 2 posts. Is this a technical problem with the board?

argumentative IMHO. Anyway, a little argument is good for the soul and cleans out the liver. Also, don't worry

No, it shouldn't have been considered offensive but a rabid troll has been granted control over one of the forums on this board. He/it/them destroyed another financial/retirement board and are attempting the same here. This is the at least the 3rd such board they are trying to destroy. They/it/he apparently only has control of the "alternative" board so it would good to avoid it.

anybody remember the "where's the beef" commercial for wendy's many years ago. looks like there was no beef in the alternative swr approach.

There was some beef, unfortunately it was a piece of six week old chuck that fell behind the grinder. We kept smelling it, and when we finally found out what it really was it was fairly disgusting.

The mistake many people made is thinking there ever really was any sort of "alternative" presented by the "wonder twins". It was a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing. It was a lack of actually saying what it was they were presenting that made it carry on as long as it did. Whenever anything concrete emerged from the 30 paragraph streams of unintelligible consciousness, it was quickly torn apart by people who actually know what they're talking about.

Nobody knows whats going to happen or where things are going to go tomorrow, so stick with good asset allocation, take ~ 3-5% of your portfolio as needed and enjoy your retirement ya rich old fart.

He's pretty sweet on sleeping. He goes 3-5 hours at a pop on his own. Mom goes to sleep around 10, I put him down around 11, I usually stay up and get him at 2am, mom picks him up around 5-6 after she's had a full 8. I sleep in until...well..whenever!
